Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Kim Bong-sik said at a regular press conference today (4th) that after completing a full inspection of seized products, there was no additional case to launch an investigation.

Regarding the results of the "total investigation into the management of integrated evidence" conducted from the 18th to the 25th of last month, Commissioner Kim explained that there were several cases of delays in receiving confiscated goods, but there were no cases to proceed with the investigation.

He then stressed that he would thoroughly manage confiscated materials in the future so that there would be no recurrence.

Earlier, two police officers from Gangnam Police Station and Yongsan Police Station in Seoul were arrested and sent to prison on charges of stealing hundreds of millions of won worth of confiscated goods.
