The third criminal division of the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office said it notified Da-hye to appear at the prosecution on the 7th or 8th as a reference.
This is the third time the prosecution has notified Da-hye of a face-to-face investigation after the middle of last month and the 1st of this month.
Regarding the previous two requests for investigation, Da-hye delivered her intention to the prosecution, saying, "I will not attend because I am a reference."
Attendance or statements of references are not compulsory and are not subject to legal penalties even if they do not comply with the investigation.
Prosecutors have been investigating the employment of Da-hye's ex-husband, who has no working experience in the airline industry, at Thai Star Jet, which is owned by Lee Sang-jik, the founder of Eastar Jet.
