The Disruptive and Emerging Technologies Alliance (DETA) is a member of 17 local governments in 17 countries, including Gyeonggi Province, and is chaired by the state of Catalonia, Spain.
The first ministerial meeting was attended by 10 local governments around the world, including Massachusetts (US), Occitani (France), and Wales (UK).
The declaration states that AI development should be made with human dignity and rule of law as core values and that an AI culture that complies with ethical norms and social values should be created.At the
roundtable discussion, Gyeonggi Province introduced the 'Ordinance on the Establishment of Artificial Intelligence Ethics' and AI-related policies promoted by the province and discussed ways to cooperate to realize global AI ethics.
