According to the Associated Press and other statistics, former President Trump won about 51% of the votes in Nevada, ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, who won 47%.
As a result, Trump won six of the "seven major contending states" that were pointed out as the outcome of the presidential election.
In Arizona, the one remaining contested state where votes are still being counted, Trump is ahead of Vice President Harris, who won only 47% of the vote with 52% of the vote.
At this rate, Trump is expected to sweep seven competing states and secure 312 electors to win outright.
The U.S. presidential election is a system in which 270 candidates, or the majority of the total 538, win.
