A middle school student who committed sex crimes against his friend's sister was sentenced to prison.

On the 11th, the Daejeon District Court sentenced A (14), who was arrested and charged with violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, to a long term of two and a half years and a short term of two years.

In addition, he ordered the completion of a 40-hour sexual violence treatment program and five-year employment restrictions for children, adolescents, and disabled organizations.

Earlier in April, A and his friend B were put on trial on charges of calling his friend's sister to his house and trying to rape her.

They molested the victim two months before the incident and threatened to inform him of the fact, making the victim come home and then committing the crime. At that time, A had been 14 years old less than 10 days ago.

Mr. A's previous crime in April was not prosecuted because he was a "tactress boy." Mr. B, who committed the crime together, was sent to the Juvenile Department of the Family Court as he was a juvenile at the time of the crime.Under the Juvenile Act, criminal minors between the ages of 10 and 14 years of age
can be protected as juveniles under the Juvenile Act. Criminal minors are judged based on the date and time of the crime.

Prior to the ruling, the court said, "A boy is guilty of exercising violence that is hard to believe," adding, "I had a lot of worries about deciding my sentence because of the defendant's young age."
