An American YouTuber controversially accused of inappropriate behavior, such as kissing a "peace girl statue," has been put on trial for disorderly conduct at a convenience store.

The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office yesterday (11th) indicted YouTuber Johnny Somali without detention on charges of obstruction of business.

Somali is accused of playing music loudly and dancing at a convenience store in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 17th of last month, or intentionally spilling cup noodle soup on a convenience store table and swearing at an employee who tried to restrain it.

Somali, who was previously controversial for his misbehavior, such as kissing the Girl of Peace statue, has been booked on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, apart from obstruction of business, and has been suspended from the police.
