In a survey of the public, a change in perception of marriage is also being detected.
Let's look at the results of this year's social survey by the National Statistical Office.
This is the result of a survey of 36,000 citizens aged 13 and over in May by the National Statistical Office.
Among the respondents, 52.5% said they should get married.
It is the highest since 56.8% in 2014.
31.3% of the respondents answered that the reason for not getting married was due to a lack of marriage funds.
The answer was 'due to the burden of childbirth and rearing' and 'the employment status was unstable.'
In the end, nearly 60% is an economic cause.
The burden of weddings is also high, so 8 out of 10 people said the wedding culture is excessive.
In particular, the higher the income, the more excessive the current wedding culture is.
68.4% of the respondents said they should have children if they get married, up 3.1 percentage points from two years ago.
It's the first rebound in six years.
Seven out of 10 people said they could live together even if men and women were not married.
Four out of 10 people said they can have children without getting married.
Then, what is the most effective countermeasure for low birth rate that people think of?
Housing support was the most common at 33.4%, followed by youth job support (20.8%) and work-family balance workplace culture (14%).
