KT named Jang Jin-hyuk as compensation player for Um Sang-baek.

Professional baseball kt has appointed outfielder Jang Jin-hyuk as a compensation player for pitcher Um Sang-baek, who signed an FA contract with Hanwha.

Jang Jin-hyuk, who joined Hanwha in 2016, had his best performance since his debut with a batting average of 263 and nine homers in 99 games this season.

KT said it expects Jang Jin-hyuk to create synergy with existing outfield players with immediate power.
