The objection filed by Yonsei University was rejected against the court's decision to suspend the effectiveness of Yonsei University's occasional natural essay examination.

The court looked at all the additional data, but still judged that the fairness of the test was undermined and that it was justified to suspend the effectiveness of the essay test.

As a result, follow-up procedures, such as the announcement of successful applicants, were also suspended before the ruling of the lawsuit demanding a retest.Yonsei University, which has not budged from its position that

'fairness has never been seriously damaged,' immediately appealed.

Regarding this, the examinee insisted that Yonsei University should take the test again, saying that it would only take time to file an appeal again.

In this situation, the Ministry of Education urged Yonsei University to come up with an alternative by the 26th of next month, the deadline for notifying the unregistered admission process to prevent confusion in the entrance examination.

In particular, he pointed out that the school has the authority to make the final decision, but if the number of applicants for essay screening is carried over on time, the opportunity for applicants for essay screening disappears.

With Yonsei University also drawing the line that neither retaking nor carrying over on time can be an alternative, legal battles are expected to continue and confusion among test takers will increase.
