Footage showed Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mariya Zakharova receiving a call during a briefing to not comment on related reports, with the Kremlin refusing to confirm the Ukrainian military's announcement that Russian forces had fired ICBMs.

On the 21st local time, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova received a mobile phone during a briefing, which was revealed through a microphone as the other party said, "Never comment on reports of a ballistic missile attack."

Asked by a reporter about the call, Zakharova said she had asked experts for clarification on certain topics as she prepared for the briefing and that the answer came during the briefing.

In a related development, Telegram channel Agenstvo said it was unclear if the phone rang during the briefing and the call was released by accident or a planned production.
