Prosecutors sentenced Lee Sun-kyun to seven years in prison for "threatening" entertainment establishment chief

The Incheon District Prosecutors' Office today (25th) demanded a seven-year prison term for the head of an entertainment establishment, A, who is accused of threatening actor Lee Sun-kyun to extort 300 million won.

The prosecution explained the reason why A wanted the crime to be bad because he/she had intentionally committed a crime, such as purchasing a fake phone for the fact that the victim was a celebrity.

Mr. A is accused of stealing 300 million won from Mr. Lee in September last year, saying that his mobile phone was hacked and threatened, and that he needed money to cover his mouth.

According to a police investigation at the time, the hacker who threatened A was a former movie star who lived in the same apartment and was close to him.

Earlier, A was handed over to trial in November last year on charges of drugging and sentenced to one year in prison.
