A tattoo expert (Tatuist) who stabbed a student for refusing his request was sentenced to four years in prison.
According to the legal community on the 26th, the Seoul Eastern District Court's Criminal Agreement Department 12 (Chief Judge Lee Jung-hyung) sentenced a man in his 40s to four years in prison and ordered probation for three years on the 14th.
Earlier on June 19, A was accused of stabbing victim B in the abdomen at a tattoo parlor in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
B was identified as a disciple who learned tattooing skills from A for about six months.
Mr. A started gambling in 2022 and lost a large amount of money until June. In the process, he even divorced his wife.
In this situation, in June, when the tattoo parlour where he worked was cracked down by the police and could no longer operate, A visited the tattoo parlour operated by B and asked, "I will pay 300,000 won a month, so please lend me a space to work on tattoos."
When B refused the request, A visited B's tattoo parlour at around 5:15 p.m. on June 20.
After checking with the employee whether B was inside, he purchased a 31cm kitchen knife and stabbed B in the abdomen sitting on a chair.
It was reported that A called 112 before the crime, saying, "I think I'm going to kill a person."
Fortunately, B saved his life by restraining the employees who ran after hearing the scream.
