Half of the participants became "couples" at the unmarried men's and women's meeting event organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

On the 27th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the final 27 couples had a matching rate of 54 percent at the "Excited in Han River" event held on Sebit Island in Banpo Han River Park on the 23rd.

The event, which involved 100 people with a high competition rate of about 33 to 1, featured programs such as love coaching, experience of sailing on the Han River, recreational games, 1:1 conversations, and cocktail dates.

Only matched parties were notified of the results the morning after the event through the last order in which the participants listed their favorite reason from 1st to 3rd.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will provide 27 newly born couples with dating packages worth 300,000 won, including meal tickets and cultural experience tickets.

In a survey of participants, 84% of the respondents evaluated that they were satisfied with the event program and operation due to opportunities to talk with various reasons.

"We sincerely congratulate those who have become couples," said Kim Sun-soon, head of the Seoul Women's Family Office. "We will continue to hold events through corporate sponsorship in the future to provide more unmarried men and women with opportunities to meet."
