Citing health officials in Gaza, CNN reported yesterday (1st) that more than 200 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the northern part of the country in the previous day alone.
As the food shortage grew due to the continued war, people flocked to a bakery in central Gaza on the 29th of last month, killing three women.
The United Nations has also suspended aid deliveries through key checkpoints, saying the collapse of public order in the anarchic Gaza region has led to a surge in hunger and frequent looting of U.N. aid delivery vehicles.
