The police have decided to claim damages against a man who wrote a message that predicted he would wield a weapon around Yatap Station in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency said at a press conference today (2nd) that it will calculate the amount of damage caused by waste of police force and claim damages in time for the prosecution's prosecution.

Earlier in September, a man posted on the Internet that he would wield a weapon at Yatap Station, prompting police to strengthen patrols around him, including sending mobile patrols to prevent accidents.

The man caught by the police was found to have posted false posts to promote illegal sites he runs, and the police applied for an arrest warrant, but it was rejected by the court.
