Zhou Guodan, former CEO of Dongyang Life Insurance, who is suspected of causing 2 billion won worth of damage to the company by winning the tennis court indirectly, has been handed over to the prosecution.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's financial crime investigation team said it sent former CEO Zhou to the prosecution on charges of professional breach of trust.

Earlier in October last year, the Financial Supervisory Service found out that Dongyang Life Insurance acquired the right to operate under unfavorable conditions for the company while acting as the de facto operator of Jangchung Tennis Court in Jung-gu, Seoul.

After that, I asked the police to investigate last year.

Dongyang Life Insurance Co., Ltd. found that it has compensated more than 2.5 billion won in the form of winning the tennis court through a third corporation and driving advertising expenses to the corporation.

In May, police raided the headquarters of Dongyang Life Insurance in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and the home of former CEO Zhou.
