Fire in the basement of the building under demolition... "presumption of wire fire"

Yesterday (2nd) at around 1:30 p.m., a fire broke out on the first basement floor of a commercial building in Byeolyang-dong, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

No one was injured because there was no one inside, and the fire was extinguished in 10 minutes by burning electrical wiring and switches.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause based on statements from building officials that they were under demolition at the time and could not properly check whether the electricity was cut off.
