Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province, said the Ministry of Personnel Management recently held a civil service accident compensation council and recognized the death of A, a ninth-grade civil servant in Gimpo City, who died in March after suffering from complaints.

Although the Ministry of Personnel Management did not disclose the specific reason for the recognition of A's death on duty, it was reported that there was a causal relationship between A's work and his death, and according to this decision, the bereaved family will be able to receive the bereaved family's salary.

A was found dead at 3:40 p.m. on March 5 in a vehicle parked on the road in Seo-gu, Incheon.

On February 29, five days before his death, A was confirmed to have suffered from complaints when the pothole (road break) repair work on Gimpo Road caused traffic congestion.

On the same day, the online cafe said that A was the person who approved the construction, and his real name and department name were posted along with the office phone number, and comments criticizing A were posted one after another.

The police later investigated and booked without detention two civil petitioners who posted A's identity and malicious writings on an online cafe on charges of defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection.
