Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon canceled it a day before his overseas business trip to respond to the railroad and subway strikes.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said the mayor's business trip to India and Malaysia, which had been scheduled for six nights and eight days from tomorrow (4th), has been canceled due to the expected inconvenience of citizens in connection with the Korail and Seoul Transportation Corporation strikes announced on the 5th and 6th.An official from

Earlier, the national railway union announced a general strike on the 5th, demanding a wage increase and more manpower, and the Seoul Transportation Corporation union, which operates Seoul Subway Line 1 to 8, also announced a general strike on the 6th.
