The special team announced yesterday (10th) that it notified Choo, the former floor leader, to attend as a suspect and undergo an investigation.
Earlier, the Democratic Party of Korea accused Choo of rebellion during the emergency martial law crisis, saying that he had obstructed the vote on the demand for the lifting of martial law by convening members of the People's Power to the headquarters rather than the plenary session of the National Assembly.
The special team also notified Prime Minister Han Deok-soo and State Councilor Han Deok-soo, who attended the Cabinet meeting held just before martial law was declared, and plans to consider a forced investigation if the suspect does not comply with the summons.
