A Maserati car that hit a motorcycle ahead of Gwangju in the middle of the city at 128 kilometers per hour in September.

Among the lovers on the motorcycle, a woman was killed and a man was seriously injured, but 32-year-old Kim was caught 67 hours after fleeing.

The
court sentenced Kim to 10 years in prison, equivalent to the prosecution's prison sentence, on charges of fleeing and driving under the influence of alcohol.

The first trial court said, "Kim caused serious damage by causing a drunk driving traffic accident, but fled leaving the victims alone," adding, "The nature of the crime is very poor, such as avoiding investigative agencies."

A 33-year-old acquaintance who helped Kim escape was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of probation.

The victim, who lost her girlfriend in the accident, went to court in a wheelchair, but expressed her unfairness, saying the sentence was too small.
