Acting President Han Deok-soo, who is continuing his busy steps to stabilize the state affairs as soon as possible, is expected to be put to a difficult test soon.
It is whether to veto the controversial bill led by the opposition party, which is expected to attract opposition from both the ruling and opposition parties regardless of the choice.

There are currently six bills subject to veto.
These are the so-called "Four Agricultural Laws," including the Grain Management Act, which was handled by the opposition party last month, the National Assembly Act, and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act.
The People's Power previously proposed veto to President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is about to be prosecuted for impeachment.
[Kwon Seong-dong / Floor Leader of People's Power (last 13th): The President's formal request for the exercise of the right to request reconsideration is still in effect.]
The deadline for vetoing the six bills is the 21st.
Another controversial bill is the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act and the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, which passed the fourth National Assembly.
It has not yet been transferred to the government, so it is not subject to veto, but the list price predicts that the moment of decision will come around the end of this month or early next year.
[Lee Jae-myung/Democratic Party leader: The main task of acting is to maintain the status quo in textbooks, and it is not allowed to change the status quo or form a new order]
The ruling and opposition parties are sharply divided over these bills, but another source of conflict is whether the acting president can veto them.
This is because there is no regulation on the scope of the acting president's authority anywhere in the constitution.
[Lee Ki-heon / Rep. of the Democratic Party of Korea (last 13th): If you become the acting president, can you exercise your right to request reconsideration?]
[Han Deok-soo / Acting President: I will examine that in depth internally.]
However, it's not unprecedented.
In 2004, during the impeachment trial of then-President Roh Moo Hyun, Acting President Goh Kun vetoed two bills.
