The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the Korean government's commitment to maintaining its diplomatic stance to quell unrest in major countries caused by the acting president system.

During the day, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol invited the G7, or the European Union's ambassador to South Korea, to the foreign minister's residence for a luncheon, sharing the current domestic situation under the acting president system.

At the meeting, Minister Cho explained the government's efforts to carry out state affairs stably despite the difficult domestic situation and expressed its commitment to maintaining the foreign policy stance.

At the same time, he explained that he is making top efforts to manage foreign relations stably and maintain foreign credibility.

Ambassadors to Korea who attended the luncheon reportedly assessed that they were able to reaffirm the solidarity and resilience of Korean democracy through this incident.
