The raid on the Presidential Security Service server ended up in failure?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is.

The joint investigation headquarters, set up by the police and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, launched a search and seizure of the presidential office yesterday, but failed to execute the warrant due to the security agency's blocking.

It was noted whether the presidential security service would change its position today, but it said it could not cooperate in the end.

The Korea Communications Standards Agency said that at around 4:50 p.m. today, the security service conveyed its position that it could not cooperate with the search warrant for military secrets and official reasons.

The government yesterday tried to execute a search warrant for a server stored in the presidential office's security office to secure communication records of Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho's security phone, "Vihua Phone," but was stopped by the security office.

It is said that securing a server is important to check the call history because the phone is equipped with eavesdropping and call recording prevention programs.

National Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho said he spoke to President Yoon six times on the phone during martial law, and at that time, President Yoon ordered the lawmakers to be arrested.

The Korea Communications Standards Agency said it has not received any additional voluntary submission of data from the security office today, and plans to discuss the direction of the investigation in the future.
