Acting President Han Deok-soo presided over a meeting of ministers related to state affairs at the Seoul Government Complex today (19th) and said that high-tech materials from secondary batteries to bio and quantum industries are key factors.
At the same time, he said that the government should secure supply chain leadership to ensure economic security, adding that it will come up with a strategy for developing high-tech R&D to support it and form a consultative body for high-tech technology growth to cooperate between research institutes and companies.
The meeting also discussed the basic plan for the use of primary industrial property information management, the initial legal plan to manage 600 million industrial property information, including patents.
Regarding the fire safety measures for accommodation facilities, it was also discussed that it would be mandatory to disclose installation information on accommodation reservation platforms so that users can easily check whether sprinklers are installed online.
