According to the photo posted by Joo on social media, at around 10:30 p.m. on the 3rd, Chun Joon-ho, chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee, posted a message in the chat room that President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law and should gather at the National Assembly now.
Since then, other lawmakers have responded that they will go to the National Assembly one after another, and representative Lee Jae-myung also posted a short message saying, "To the National Assembly."
There were messages saying that the National Assembly was closed after 11 p.m., and that they could enter if they crossed the back wall of the National Assembly, as well as asking them to gather at the plenary session hall right now.
The state supreme council member, who released the photo of the chat room, explained that he was able to pass the demand for the lifting of martial law thanks to the rapid and systematic response of Democratic lawmakers and the citizens who rushed to the National Assembly to protect him.
