At 9:38 a.m. on the 20th, a BMW X3 gasoline vehicle running on Daewangpangyo-ro in Gungnae-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, caught fire of unknown cause.
Fire authorities completed the extinguishment in about 10 minutes. The driver of the vehicle is said to have been evacuated immediately.
The driver reportedly said the fire started when the engine was turned off and smoke broke out from the bonnet while waiting for the signal.
Fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire based on driver statements.
