The key to the revision is to collect TV license fees, which have been collected separately from electricity bills, as before in accordance with the revision of the Enforcement Decree of the Korea Communications Commission in July last year.
With the passage of this amendment, companies entrusted with the collection of license fees, such as Korea Electric Power Corporation, will be able to collect the license fees by integrating them with electricity bills.
The amendment will take effect six months after the promulgation.
