The ruling and opposition parties have decided to postpone various parliamentary schedules, including the standing committee, to focus on dealing with aircraft accidents at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do.

The schedules of the Standing Committee, including the Steering Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Agricultural and Maritime Affairs Committee, and the Environmental Labor Committee, which were scheduled to be held tomorrow, were all postponed.

Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party, to which the chairmen of the standing committee belong, issued this guideline, saying that it is to quickly recover from the accident and to have time for mourning.

The ruling and opposition parties have also moved to find out and deal with the accident, respectively.

Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader of the People's Power Party, said he decided to form a TF to deal with the Muan Airport plane accident after holding an emergency meeting with the party's executive and land committee members.

He added that he decided to pursue accident management, fact-finding, and support for bereaved families, and that Kwon Young-jin, the secretary of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, was in charge of the chairman.Floor leader

Representative Lee Jae-myung will head to the Jeonnam Provincial Party in Muan, where the special committee's situation headquarters is established, immediately after the meeting to check the related situation.

National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik also issued a statement saying he would support the National Assembly as much as possible and sent Chief of Staff Cho Oh-seop to Muan Airport.

Immediately after the accident in the morning, the presidential office held an emergency meeting of senior secretaries presided over by Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok and discussed cooperation and work coordination between related ministries.

The results of the meeting were separately reported to Acting President Choi Sang-mok, and the spokesperson's office suggested holding an emergency plenary session presided over by the acting president.

The Presidential Secretariat and the National Security Office will maintain an emergency response posture around the clock, centering on the State Affairs Situation Room.

In addition, if necessary, we plan to hold senior secretaries meetings from time to time and share them with acting authorities and related ministries.
