North Chungcheong Province's "New Year's Hope Festival" was canceled...We're going to have a mourning period.

In connection with the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, Chungcheongbuk-do canceled the "New Year's Hope Festival," which was scheduled to be held at the Cheongju Arts Center tomorrow evening (31st).

Chungcheongbuk-do said that the New Year's Hope Festival is a big event that attracts 5,000 provincial residents every year, but the festival was canceled to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air flight disaster.

North Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Young-hwan said he would pray for the repose of those who were killed in the plane disaster during the year-end and New Year holidays and calmly pray for the safety and future prosperity of North Chungcheong residents.
