Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is criticized for his involvement in European politics by supporting far-right forces, has sparked controversy this time by accusing German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of being a "tyrant."

According to the German daily Belt, Musk wrote on his SNS account, "Stenemeyer is an anti-democratic tyrant. Shame on you," he wrote.

Earlier, President Steinmeier announced an early general election on the 27th, criticizing Musk's series of remarks defending far-right parties as "external influence is a threat to democracy."

On the same day, Musk posted a comment that the far-right German Alternative Party's approval rating was at an all-time high, saying, "The German Alternative Party will prevail."

Prime Minister Olaf Scholz indirectly criticized Musk in his New Year's address today from local perspective, saying, "The citizens decide how Germany will move forward, not the owners of social media."
