[Busan] Busan City to Focus on Creating a 'Global Hub City' in the New Year

The Busan Metropolitan Government has announced its plan to focus on creating a "global hub city" and a "city where you want to live even if you are born again" in the new year.

Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon said in his New Year's address, "Investment attraction for the 8th civilian election has exceeded 11 trillion won, and Busan brand indicators have risen significantly internationally," adding, "We will do our best to expand investment to 20 trillion won this year."

At the same time, Mayor Park also stressed the need to create a global hub city, saying, "Decentralization and balanced development of innovation are the way to save the Republic of Korea."
