The Ministry of National Defense says it has already informed the security service of its "no mobilization" policy in advance over allegations that military forces have been mobilized to prevent the execution of arrest warrants for President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Ministry of National Defense explained that acting Defense Minister Kim Sun-ho yesterday told the security service that it is not appropriate to send military personnel to block the execution of arrest warrants.

He added that he also requested that military personnel in charge of security outside the official residence not confront the police who are executing arrest warrants.

At the same time, he also disclosed that he had instructed the commander of the unit not to have a physical conflict with the police.

At the same time, he stressed that the unit was primarily tasked with the outer boundary of the official residence, and that he once again asked the security service to operate the supported security unit to meet the mission.

Earlier, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit said that active-duty soldiers from the 55th Guard along with the security service members prevented the execution of the warrant during the execution of President Yoon's arrest warrant.
