[Seoul] Oh Se-hoon, "2025 Deregulation Sold Out...A New Year of Leap"

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said he will focus on removing regulations that will ease the city's regulatory authority in the new year, and will change the big stream of the economy.

Mayor Oh said at the Seoul Metropolitan Government's New Year's greeting ceremony held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry that 2025 will be the year of Seoul's new leap forward.

He added that as urban competitiveness comes from technology and companies, we will work with the government, companies, and universities to build a technology innovation ecosystem such as AI, bio, and robots.

Mayor Oh also expressed his condolences for the victims of the plane crash and said he will strive for the safety and abundance of citizens again this year.
