The Gyeongnam Fire Department said it put out all the fires from old tires piled up in a yard in Sacheon-eup, Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do at around 3:10 p.m. yesterday (9th) at around 0:20 a.m. today (10th).
No one was injured in the fire, but it was estimated that 90 tons of waste tires and waste materials were used, making it difficult for fire authorities to extinguish the fire.
Police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
