"Unlimited scope of investigation"...Addition of 'foreign exchange crime' also Jung Jo-joon
"Is psychological warfare and defense posture training in North Korea within the scope of foreign exchange?"
The People's Power devalued the Civil War Special Counsel Act, which was reissued by the opposition parties such as the Democratic Party, as nothing more than a "box split."
It clarified its position that the 'opposition bill' cannot be accepted, but instead, it is officially discussing its own independent counsel bill and seeking a breakthrough in the impeachment process.

The opposition party, including the Democratic Party of Korea, has undermined the new independent counsel bill for civil war, citing various reasons for opposition.
The third-party recommendation method proposed by the Democratic Party of Korea and the reduction in the length and size of the investigation are nothing more than deceitful, and in terms of appearance, they are "abundant in unconstitutionality and vulgarity."
[Kwon Seong-dong / People's Power Floor Leader: (The independent counsel law) is also continuing its goal of destroying conservatives. They are doing well as if they made a great concession, but in reality, it is just a special investigation law that only changed the packaging.
It particularly took issue with a wide range of investigations that could increase indefinitely, and the newly added "foreign exchange crime" was also an absolutely unacceptable part.
It is argued that it is a problem in itself to define psychological warfare against North Korea, which is directly related to security, and defense posture training in preparation for possible provocations as foreign exchange.
[Kwon Young-se / People's Power Emergency Response Committee Chairman: I think the foreign exchange crime is something that must be excluded if a consultation is made. Those who have that kind of perception should never be in power in our country.....]
In the same vein, whether it is right to introduce a new bill a day after its abolition came from the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee, which is the gateway to "dealing the bill."
[Yoo Sang-beom / Secretariat of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee, People's Power: It's not like you're making a cake at a bakery, but you're making a bill like this, I think it's never good for the people.]
However, the public opinion on whether they are blindly opposed to the opposition bill without even presenting their own independent counsel bill and the demand for a "revised independent counsel" from within the party are agonizing.
The party leadership's announcement that it will carefully review and discuss the bill that removed the unconstitutional elements while keeping the original purpose of the special prosecution system alive seems to be related.
The People's Power plans to continue related discussions at the general meeting of lawmakers as early as next week if the party's legal advisory committee drafts a tentatively named "Gyeom Special Counsel Act."
However, since the investigation is already underway competitively, there is still a considerable amount of public opinion within the party on whether a special prosecutor is necessary, some predict that it is uncertain whether it will lead to the proposal.
