The damage is increasing, as simultaneous wildfires in Los Angeles, the largest city in the western United States, have spread for four days, burning ¼ of the size of Seoul.

Authorities in California and LA counties say five wildfires are spreading in L.A. County, and the area of damage has increased to 148 square kilometers.

The day before, the fire department warned of possible arrest if caught flying a drone at the scene of the fire after an aircraft used to extinguish the fire collided with a drone flown by a civilian and was partially damaged.

With 10 people dead and at least 10,000 buildings found damaged so far, U.S. financial giant Wells Fargo estimated the economic toll could exceed 88.41 trillion won.

At least 20 people have been arrested for arson and looting in LA County, with 153,000 people currently under evacuation orders.
