The Korean Intellectual Property Office said at the end of November last year that a survey of Crocs products sold by 16 overseas direct-to-purchase distributors in China showed that they were all counterfeit products.
Crocs slippers and sandals, all of which are sold for less than 40% of the normal price, are found to be difficult to check online for counterfeiting, using genuine logos and images.
The Korean Intellectual Property Office said that the seller named the "official store" was also false, and that the products sold were also confirmed to be counterfeit, explaining that products with a normal price of 40% or less are likely to be counterfeit products.
He also added that in order to check for counterfeit products, you can compare them with trademarks registered in the Korean Intellectual Property Office's "Keepless Patent Information Search Service."
