A fire broke out at 6:20 a.m. today (13th) in a detached house in Bonghwa-eup, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and was extinguished in 3 hours and 40 minutes.
A female resident in her 50s was found in a cardiac arrest in the house and taken to a hospital, but she died, and a house was burned down.
Police and fire authorities believe the fire started due to a short circuit and are investigating the exact cause.
