It will be difficult for local council members to go on a simple inspection-oriented business trip to the outside world.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security revised the rule standard that strengthened the pre- and post-review procedures for business trips abroad and recommended it to local councils.

The amendment made it possible to collect residents' opinions by posting a travel plan approved by the Public Official National Assembly's Travel Review Committee on its website 45 days before departure.

In addition, previously, it was necessary to submit a report on the results to the permit holder after the business trip, but in the future, the review committee should deliberate on the legality and appropriateness of the business trip results and disclose them.

The independence of the judging committee has also been strengthened, so if more than two-thirds of the members were made up of private members, local councilors could participate in the rest, but in the future, only two local councilors could participate, and private council members would participate in the contest or recommendation from outside.

In addition, when traveling abroad, the target of budget expenditure was restricted, one institution was recommended to visit a day, and the number of people carried out was minimized.
