Russia declined to comment on comments from Ukrainian President Zelensky that Ukraine could exchange captured North Korean troops for Ukrainian forces held in Russia.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing on the 13th local time that he was "unable to comment in any way" on the Ukrainian side's proposal, Russia's Tas news agency reported.

Peskov added that he did not know what was true or who suggested what to whom, but that the lives of all Russian forces were important, adding that the possibility of a prisoner swap with Ukraine would continue to be discussed.

Ukrainian President Zelensky released a video on social media showing two North Korean soldiers captured alive by Ukrainian forces, saying they could release North Korean prisoners on the condition of delivering Ukrainian troops detained in Russia.
