The Ministry of National Defense said that it is not true that the head of the Joint Investigation Headquarters approved the security unit to enter the official residence.

The Ministry of National Defense responded to the official letter sent by the Joint Investigation Headquarters, saying that the area that requested cooperation for investigation is designated as a military facility protection zone and a national security facility and security zone, limiting the approval of access by the security forces alone.

The Ministry of National Defense said that the security unit in charge of the outer security of the official residence informed the department in charge of presidential access approval that additional access approval was needed.

The Ministry of National Defense's explanation is somewhat different from the previous announcement that the 55th Guard Corps, which was assigned to the security office, approved the entry and exit of the official residence for the execution of the warrant.

In this regard, an official from the Ministry of National Defense verbally explained that the security commander was restricted from entering the official document, which included the request for access approval from the Airborne Division officials, and later officially sent an official document containing the same details.
