The U.N. Security Council has revealed that Russia is executing Ukrainian prisoners and committing sexual torture.

The recent issue of two North Korean prisoners captured by Ukraine in Kursk, Russia, has also drawn attention.

Rather, Russia countered by saying that Russian prisoners were tortured and executed.

In the midst of this, the issue of two North Korean prisoners recently disclosed by Ukraine has also been on the cutting board.

As President Zelensky has proposed to Russia to exchange North Korean prisoners with their own prisoners of war, the issue is also expected to receive international attention.

The issue of dealing with North Korean prisoners of war is expected to be a difficult higher-order equation, as Ukraine and Russia, as well as South Korea and North Korea, are intertwined and various legal and procedural issues are at stake.
