A middle school student who was playing on the ice in the reservoir...One person will die.

At around 5:20 p.m. the day before yesterday (13th), 11 middle school students were playing on the ice of a reservoir in Dasa-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu, and the ice broke and six fell into the water.

Five of them escaped from the water, and one was rescued and taken to a hospital in about 20 minutes, but died.

Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident based on statements that the dead middle school student tried to save his friends.
