12 people, including Vietnamese, were arrested for attempting to leave illegally by truck.

The Jeju Maritime Police arrested 11 Vietnamese and South Korean carriers on charges of trying to sneak out of another area after entering the country without a visa.

The Vietnamese were caught by the Coast Guard and the Jeju Marine Fisheries Management Team while trying to escape on a ship heading to Wando after hiding in a truck.

The Coast Guard is investigating, believing that they tried to sneak out to get a job after coming to Jeju without a visa.
