"Killing an acquaintance and kidnapping his wife" sentenced to life imprisonment in his 40s.

A man in his 40s, who was handed over to trial for killing an acquaintance and kidnapping his wife, was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Mokpo Branch of the Gwangju District Court sentenced 44-year-old Park to life imprisonment on charges of murder, special intimidation, and imprisonment.

The court revealed the reason for the sentence, saying that if Park goes to society, the risk of recidivism is very high and the possibility of edification is unlikely.

Park was arrested and charged with stabbing his acquaintance A to death in a house in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do, and forcibly kidnapping his wife in a vehicle in July last year.
