A 25-month-old daughter is arrested and charged with 'common abuse, neglect, and murder' by a couple in their 30s.

The Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office handed over all couples in their 30s to trial in custody on charges of repeatedly abusing their 25-month-old daughter, who was premature.

The couple is accused of neglecting nutrition, hospital treatment, and habitually abusing their daughter, who was born prematurely and suffered from heart disease, and killing her with skull fractures early on December 16 last year.

The biological mother of the deceased child was previously denied an arrest warrant, but was arrested on the 30th of last month after confirming that the police actively participated in the crime.

Prosecutors said they had requested emergency living support from the city hall in charge for the remaining children of the defendants, and said they would make every effort to maintain the indictment so that a sentence commensurate with the defendant's guilt could be sentenced.
