Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon to discuss strengthening cooperation with Chinese Ambassador to Korea

Jeju Island has decided to strengthen cooperation with China to seek common prosperity in various fields.

Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon met with the new Chinese ambassador to Korea Diving at the Chinese Embassy for about an hour and discussed various ways to strengthen cooperation.

In addition to various friendly cooperation policies such as civilian exchanges, the opening of trade routes between Jeju and Qingdao, and cooperation in the field of carbon neutrality were on the main agenda.

Ambassador Diving said Governor Oh has played a major role in promoting friendly cooperation and human communication with China and will actively support his visit to China in April.Governor

Oh also requested the diving ambassador to visit Jeju and proposed a visit to Jeju by the highest-ranking officials on the occasion of the APEC meeting in November.

Jeju has exchange city relations with 20 local governments in China, and 1.38 million Chinese tourists visited Jeju last year.
