Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon met with the new Chinese ambassador to Korea Diving at the Chinese Embassy for about an hour and discussed various ways to strengthen cooperation.
In addition to various friendly cooperation policies such as civilian exchanges, the opening of trade routes between Jeju and Qingdao, and cooperation in the field of carbon neutrality were on the main agenda.

Jeju has exchange city relations with 20 local governments in China, and 1.38 million Chinese tourists visited Jeju last year.
