As the number of deaths from respiratory diseases such as flu has increased recently, Myeongbok Park, the only crematorium in Daegu, will expand its cremation operation.

The Daegu Public Facilities Management Corporation announced that it will increase the operation of the crematorium from 10 to 11 from tomorrow (18th) in line with the surge in demand for cremation.

The corporation explained that as the number of deaths increases rapidly due to the epidemic of respiratory diseases, the number of cases of four or five days increases, so it will temporarily expand the operation to reduce the inconvenience of bereaved families.
