Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province held a commemorative event to mark the first anniversary of its launch.

At the meeting, Kim Kwan-young, governor of North Jeolla Province, said, "We will create a new Jeonbuk consistently, referring to the 'daring challenge for a new 100 years.'

More than 1,600 people attended the first anniversary event, including the chairman of the provincial council, the provincial superintendent of education, 14 mayors and counties, and provincial residents, and a performance was also held to commemorate the 2036 Olympics.
